PTSD Tied to Earlier Death

An assessment of data concerning 64,000 emergency responders and civilians exposed to the World Trade Center attacks on September 11, 2001, revealed that those who developed post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) had a 54-64% increased risk for early death over the following fifteen years.
