Stroke is a leading cause of death and a significant cause of disability in the United States. The American Stroke Association list the following warning signs of a stroke: face drooping on one side, arm weakness and/or numbness, and slurred speech. Other symptoms include sudden numbness, confusion, trouble seeing, difficulty walking, and severe headache.
