1. Pain Relief and Stabilization Care:

When many people seek care in our office they have one goal: relief.

Symptom or pain-relief chiropractic care: In this plan, attention is focused on relieving the patients from acute aches and pains related to misalignment of the spine. This is a relatively short-term relief providing treatment that concentrates on helping the patient overcome pain. Here, we may also use various other treatment modalities like electrostimulation, TENS units, acupuncture, and laser to provide pain relief.

During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations:

• Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem
• Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible
• Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery
• Explain the value of post-symptomatic stabilization care

We can’t promise that we cure all ailments and illnesses, but we can tell you that we have helped many people that thought they would suffer for the rest of their life.

2. Preventative Care or Traditional or Corrective Chiropractic Care:

Here, a lot of emphases is given to correcting or fixing the misalignment or subluxation of the spine in an attempt to provide relief from pain. The belief here is, once the spine is structurally aligned to its normal position and stops compressing the nerve or nerve root arising from that location in the spine, the pain and other associated symptoms will cease.

We encourage our patients to achieve the highest levels of health they can. Through educational opportunities, we hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care. Our desire is to see our patients abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of the emerging wellness model.
